BC technologies began its life over 30 years ago.  The founding Partners Brendon & Rachel Wallace have been the heartbeat of the business since its inception.  Being a family run business means our core values are true to our heart, and we ensure our team are aligned with these.  Service is what makes us different.  We thrive on high quality service and we deliver it.  As well as exceptional IT skills and knowledge throughout our team we strive to make IT fun and enjoyable for both our clients and our team.  We spend a lot of time with building our team and ensuring they are happy, they are in their right roles that makes them tick.  Recently we rolled out the six working geniuses’ methodology across our team.  This helps us recognise people’s strengths and weaknesses and we focus on building teams that include people with the strengths needed to help us fly and help our clients fly.  This makes us different… our team wake up in the morning and want to go to work, they get enjoyment and excitement out of it.  By investing in our team, we are investing in our clients.  The business has been built up to three office locations.  The West coast of Scotland, Central belt Scotland and London and we are hungry to continue our growth to become the most exciting and renowned IT company in Scotland.

An example of what we do… Portavadie is a five star marina and hotel & spa development based in Argyll.  BC technologies got involved from the outset and very quickly became the trusted partner to deliver all aspects of IT services. The complexities involved in a estate like Portavadie are vast and we implemented and support site wide secure WIFI, Business management systems, till and payment systems, door access systems, CCTV systems, telecom system, television system, business development and marina management systems, together with the usual Microsoft and server and hosted applications… we basically inherited anything with a plug.  Due to the remote location of Portavadie this carries various challenges.  Power issues, Weather issues logistic issues to name but a few…but we are never deterred by this…in fact we love it.  As an example a storm on New Years Eve took out the power the generators kicked in ten minutes before the bells. One of the main generators failed.  However, our team were on the case straight away.  Spending the next 90 minutes restoring functions to the IT systems that control everything across the estate and then following this up with two engineers visiting the site at 7am the next morning on New Years Day.   Portavaide were not expecting this level of support and responsiveness, but its what we do.  We do it because we care for our clients and we want to building very long relationships with them.  This is testament to our team and the fact they want to help.  Some of our clients have been with us since we started over 30 years ago and this is because once we start the business relationship, we don’t want it to end.
