The UKSPF ERI offers an employer a grant amount of up to £4000. This is based on the hourly rate of pay and contracted hours for each employee. Some key points from the guidelines to highlight are as follows:

Employing a person who is unemployed and a West Dunbartonshire resident and meets the eligibility criteria – guidelines linked below.
Creating a new job opportunity with a 26 week contract and offering a position for a minimum contract of 16 hours per week.
Funding must be commenced by 1st September 2024 and last expenditure of grant 26 weeks from employee start date.

Family Prosperity Job Enhancement Scheme is for current staff who are already employed and allows up to £3,000 to cover a 6 month period for an improved rate of pay or increase in hours and/or funding accredited training for the employee (excluding mandatory training). Employers must be paying the real living wage of £12 per hour to access this scheme. Employees must be a West Dunbartonshire Council resident and meet one of the following criteria.

Lone parents
Parents with a disability or families who have a disabled child*
Parents who have 3 or more children
Parents from a minority ethnic background
Parents who have a youngest child under 1 years of age
Parents who are aged under 25
These definitions apply to those parents who have caring responsibilities for their child. *children up to the age of 29.
